Family of Athletes Sports Agency has announced their signing of Braxton Key from Delaware Blue Coats in the NBA G League. Key will be represented by founder, Evernard “Billy” Davis.
The 6’8″, 224-pound small forward / shooting guard is from Charlotte, North Carolina where he attended high school at Oak Hill Academy. Key is the nephew of former NBA player Ralph Samson, who also starred at the University of Virginia. Key’s father played at Radford. Upon finishing at University of Virginia, Key was drafted by the Delaware Blue Coats in the 3rd Round, 39th pick. This past season he averaged 5.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
Prior to playing in the NBA G League, Key’s played at University of Virginia where he won a National Championship, scoring six points, with ten rebounds and blocking one shot in the title game against Texas Tech. He was awarded All-ACC Honorable Mention and ACC Regular Season Co-Runner Up.
