With the 2021 NBA Draft set to take place on July 29th Jason Glushon, CEO and Founder of Glushon Sports Management has announced their 2021 NBA Draft Class which includes Sam Hauser and Franz Wagner.
Franz is a 6’9” 220lbs Small Forward from Berlin, Germany. He began his professional career competing in the Basketball Bundesliga League (BBL) for club Alba Berlin. In 2019, he was named BBL Best German Young Player, which is awarded every year to the leagues most valuable player under the age of 22 for that season.
Franz later went on to attend the University of Michigan where he spent two seasons under coach Juwan Howard. As a freshman Franz was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team (2020), which later led to him being named Third-team All-Big Ten (Media 2021) and Second-team All-Big Ten (Coaches 2021) as a sophomore. Franz has since concluded his sophomore season averaging 12PPG, 6.5 RPG, and 3.0 APG.
Sam is a 6’8” 218lbs Forward from Stevens Point, Wisconsin where he attended Stevens Point Area Senior High. He began his collegiate career competing for the Marquette Golden Eagles, before attending the University of Virginia. As a red shirt senior Sam averaged 16.0 PPG, 6.8 RPG, and 1.8 APG making him the leading scorer for the Cavaliers.
