Vanguard Sports Group has signed junior Jalen Wydermyer from Texas A&M for his name, image, and likeness representation. Brett Greenberg shared the news via social media. He has signed with JK Ford for his NIL Representation.
The 6’5″, 255-pound tight end is from Dickinson, Texas where he attended Dickinson High School. He was named the Houston area UIL Offensive Player of the Year finalist by the Houston Touchdown Club. He made 42 catches for 875 yards with 10 touchdowns. He finished his high school career with 87 receptions for 1,623 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Wydermyer’s most recent season at Texas A&M, he started in all 10 games. He was named a John Mackey Award Finalist and All-SEC Second Team. He earned Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Player of the Week Honorable Mention for his performance against Arkansas. He led the Aggies with four catches for 31 yards in the win over LSU. Prior to the season, he was named to the Mackey Award Watch List, as well as the Preseason All-SEC Second Team by the league’s coaches and media.
