The Sports Lawyers Association (SLA) will be hosting its 33rd Annual Conference in Cambridge, MA from May 17-19.
Calling all sports attorneys, sports agents, sports law professors, sports law students, and anyone else looking to spend a chunk of change to hear some speeches [Here is the official brochure]. This is the yearly event that you have all been waiting for. And don’t worry about the cost of attendance (unless you don’t have a job), it’s all tax deductible. So go search for your best business casual attire and head out to Cambridge for a few days in heaven.
I honestly wish that I could be able to attend, but I will be visiting my religion’s homeland (Israel) on a 10-day Birthright trip. The brochure highlights a lot of very interesting subjects that will be covered at the conference. If you are able to make it out to Massachusetts; however, I would love for you to e-mail me with some of the highlights of your trip.
P.S. – NFL agents, go to the conference to fulfill your Section 3A(4) obligation to “Attend an NFLPA seminar on individual contract negotiations each year.”
