Cross CAA Off Of Leinart’s List Of Friends

Sorry Nick Lachey…Matt Leinart may be a little busy the next couple of weeks as he searches for a new agent. Just like Lachey’s fall out with Jessica Simpson, Leinart seems to be cutting ties with Creative Artists Agency after only one year of representation [After Only a Year, Matt Leinart Fires CAA]. Did Matty-Boy not like Tom Condon? Were the snacks at CAA going down in quality? We do not know the reasoning at this point.

Matt Leinart is a stud on and off the field, but I think that CAA will recover well from this break-up. I mean in the same day that Leinart leaves, CAA already lands one of the biggest ski racing agents! [Sports agent Taub to join CAA Sports] Just how do they do it? 🙂

If I’m not mistaken he fired Leigh Steinberg two months before the draft last year. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Maybe he’s an athlete that’s hard to work for and with.

Jason,

Matt is still with Condon for that side of things, Condon is working with Chuck Price as Matt’s NFLPA certified contract adviser. Matt just relieved CAA as his marketing agent.

That said, bad week for CAA. Lost Leinart’s marketing, Quinn, Peterson, and Branch fell on draft day…
