Call me silly, but I value Baseball America’s prospect rankings over any other source.
Their Top 100 list for 2006 was just released, with Tampa Bay’s Delmon Young at the top of the list. I hope this kid becomes a star, because pretty much every publication that I have read so far which discusses baseball prospects has Mr. Young at the top of their board.
After spending the summer interning with Career Sports & Entertainment, I took with me an extensive knowledge of the man who is ranked #4 by Baseball America. Jeremy Hermida, of my hometown Florida Marlins, is someone to definitely keep an eye on this year, as he will get plenty of time in right field.
One last note: Ryan Zimmerman, 3B for the Nationals, seems to be ranked lower by Baseball America than in other publications.

Zimmerman is definitely dropped on the BA list. Baseball Prospectus (and most other sources) call Hermida the #2 prospect behind Young. BP also thinks Howie Kendrick is the best Angels prospect — PECOTA thinks he’s the best prospect in the game.
