Dynasty Adds A Lefty And A Youngster

Major and Minor League Baseball are currently at a break in action, but at Dynasty Athlete Representation, we never stop working.  And players continue to notice the work that we do for our current clients.  We are happy to announce the addition of two new clients.  One is a left-handed pitcher with plenty of college baseball experience.  The other just turned seventeen-years-old, speaks broken English, and is a rare prospect from his country of origin.

brandon gravesUp first is Brandon Graves.  Brandon is a 6’1 190 lbs left-handed pitcher out of Valdosta State University. Graves led Valdosta State in wins (11), earned run average (3.04), saves (7) and strikeouts (85) during the 2009 season. He played at three colleges before signing with the team that drafted him. He was honored as the Gulf South Conference’s top relief pitcher at the end of the season while also earning All-America honors from Daktronics. Graves began his collegiate career at Tallahassee Community College, where he was second team All-Panhandle Conference, transfered to Appalachian State University, and ended his college ball with Valdosta State. He was born in Crawfordville, FL.

Graves was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 35th round of the 2009 MLB Draft. In his first season, he skipped martoneRookie Ball and played with the Short Season Salem-Keizer Volcanoes of the San Francisco Giants organization. Graves played in 21 games and logged 31.2 innings. He struck out 28 and posted a 2-2 record with a 3.69 ERA.

The other new client is Luca Martone.  Luca is an Italian-born switch-hitting middle infielder with the Houston Astros organization. He was signed as an international free agent by scout Mauro Mazzotti of the Astros in early July 2009. Martone was 16-years-old when he signed with the Astros.

Luca was born on October 21, 1992. He debuted in the Italian Baseball League on May 31, 2009. Martone was in the 2009 MLB European Academy and he played for Italy in the 2009 European Junior Championship, hitting .389/.556/.389 with 5 runs in 6 games for the championship-winning Italians.

We are excited to represent our 18th and 19th MLB affiliated clients and wish them the best of luck as they workout and train in the offseason.
