Dynasty’s Bowlers Show Up On Sunday

Mike DeVaneyEveryone who knows anything about professional bowling knows that Sunday is the big day for the PBA Tour.  It is when the bowlers get to be in the national spotlight on ESPN, if they are so lucky.  Yesterday, Dynasty not only had two clients on the Sunday show, but both of them went up against each other in the final round.  The match-up was between the young Australian two-handed bowler, Jason Belmonte, against Dynasty’s first client and fantastic personality, Mike DeVaney.  We are very proud of both gentlemen for making the final round.

The victor was Mike DeVaney, who notched his second PBA Tour title after beating Belmonte 189-170.  Belmonte has received a lot of media attention lately, and just unveiled a brand new website: http://www.JasonBelmonte.com.  DeVaney, on the other hand, has been struggling just to make it.  His story says a lot about his character and his drive to be the best on the PBA Tour.  As reported by PBA.com,

“I came in (to the PBA World Series of Bowling) with all the pressure in the world,” DeVaney confessed after his win. “I’m looking at going back home and living on the streets if I don’t make any money here.

“Bowling for a living is a difficult thing to do. To be honest, I lived in my car for two weeks before the World Series started to save enough money to be able to afford to get here,” he added. “My wife and two-year-old son stayed with her parents in a retirement community where only one guest is allowed, so I lived in my truck so we could afford to get here.

“I never had much money as a kid, and what money I have made, I’ve spent stupidly. Sometimes you have to make a lot of mistakes in your life before you wake up. This is a real blessing for me. I’m extremely fortunate to win this tournament and get back on my feet.”

And we are extremely fortunate to have DeVaney as a client.  We are so proud of Mike and wish him continued success.  If you or your company wants to be a part of DeVaney’s success story, email info@dynastyreps.com.
