- Agents only have 10 minutes to sell their 1st round potential draft picks in the 2008 NFL Draft (down from 15 minutes for each team to select). Hopefully this cuts down from the 6 hours and 8 minutes that it took for the 1st round to conclude last year [Draft changes among topics discussed at owners’ meeetings].

Fox is developing a new show, Lies and Promises, based on the agent solving murder mysteries [‘Bones’ executive gets extension].
- Starbucks no longer will sponsor the Sonics [Starbucks ends Sonics sponsorship]. Howard Schultz wants to start moving away from sports sponsorships…especially on local teams looking to move to Oklahoma City.
- Nike acquired Umbro for $582 million [Nike Purchases Umbro for a Reported $582M]. Nike runs the world all the way from Beaverton, Oregon.
