Get Your Last 2006 NFL Draft Predictions In!

With the 2006 NFL Draft only a few days away, it seems very necessary to post on the subject. The NFL has become the premier sport in America and many believe that it is organized better than any other major sport. But instead of getting involved in a heavy discussion about the business side of NFL, today let’s focus on the excitement of the NFL Draft.

Mel Kiper Jr. has been hailed as Mr. NFL Draft for quite a while now. His year-long job is basically to follow every college player with any potential and match players up with NFL team needs (a nice job other than being a Sports Agent). On television, the radio, and e-mails, people try to match the analytical skills of Mr. Kiper, and some predict where players land with great skill.

I received an e-mail today from a reader of this blog with first round predictions (e-mail me with questions, suggestions, etc…you may make it onto the blog). Here is how Ryan Cortes’s list reads:

Update: Mario Williams has been signed by the Houston Texans to a 6 year, $54 million contract with $26 million gauranteed. Let’s see if Bush goes #2 to the Saints, or if the Jets trade up for the #2 slot.

New England got Chad Jackson late….awesome pick. We should have a discussion on who had the best/worst drafts.
