Dynasty’s First Internship Class

Dynasty Athlete Representation

After a little bit of convincing, Matt has persuaded me to make a public post about Dynasty Athlete Representation’s new internship program. You may have noticed that there is no Dynasty internship information listed on the Internships page or on Dynasty’s website. My original intention was to keep it private and make a decision on Dynasty’s first class of interns this December based on the people who went out of their way to send their resumes without provocation. Even though we have received numerous resumes without advertising the program and would have a very tough time placing two interns with the amount of quality resumes we have received, we have now decided to make a post and invite all interested applicants to apply.

Here is the basic information:

What: Dynasty Athlete Representation, LLC will be selecting 1 or 2 interns by the end of 2007 to serve an active role in the development of the company. Interns will be given large access and will learn more than they want to know about the sports agent industry. It is a non-paying internship.

When: Applicants are encouraged to apply up until 12PM Monday, December 17, 2007. Any applications submitted after that date and time will not be considered for this initial class of interns.

Who: Anyone may apply. Preference may be given based on a myriad of factors, including: education, age, experience, location, connections, etc.

Where: Accepted interns will be able to go about their education/work from their current locale. The internship will entail heavy contact and availability; however, since Dynasty does not yet have a physical office, there is no need to move.

Why: Dynasty is growing by the day. We currently have six signed clients and are in the process of signing more. We are interested in giving our current clients great care while expanding to include new entrants to Dynasty.

If you are interested in applying, please send your resume and any other pertinent information to dheitner@dynastyreps.com and mvuckovich@dynastyreps.com. We will respond upon receipt. Not all applicants will receive phone interviews. We look forward to hearing from you!

I think the internship program is a great idea. From reading this blog and talking with Darren occasionally, these guys definitely know their stuff. I’d recommend anyone who’s serious about this field to jump on this opportunity.

Now…need to get me some interns…

Also, fyi I included Access Athletes in the most recent list of sports social networking sites on my blog.

I have a big interest in this internship program. I am a 21 year sports management major at the United State Sports Academy. I am currently partnered up with an NFL agent and have been working in the sports world for 3 years now. I am also part of a sports marketing firm and have helped them sign big time names in the NFL.

Would like to recieve more information at carlitosobando@Yahoo.com
