My take
Watt began his college career at Central Michigan as a tight end before transferring to Wisconsin in 2008. Watt resembles current Steelers defensive end Aaron Smith quite a bit in my eyes. He is 6’5” 290 pounds and perfectly suited for the 3-4 end or strong side end in the 4-3 defense. Watt has adequate burst off the line but great closing speed on his target. Has the ability to get around the edge on most tackles and will battle every play until the whistle blows. Watt had some absolutely dominating games including this year’s Rose Bowl game against TCU and against Ohio State. He sheds blocks very well and uses his hands effectively. His potential is immense because of his well-known work ethic and huge frame. He seems to still be getting bigger and stronger as well. His draft stock is skyrocketing up, he can go as high to #9 to Dallas.
