Some Hope for Future U.S. Soccer Agents?

Red White and Blue Soccer

First of all, if you are interested in learning about the comparison between America’s pastime (baseball) and the rest of the world’s pastime (soccer), you should definitely read an amazing book called, National Pastime: How Americans Play Baseball and the Rest of the World Plays Soccer by Stefan Szymanski and Andrew Zimbalist.

The book goes into great detail about how the baseball cults have blocked the emergence of Major League Soccer within America while many other countries have prevented baseball from threatening their nationalistic sport of Soccer (Futbol).

Anyway, check out this post from The Sports Economist, which gives hope to the many aspiring Soccer Sports Agents within the United States. Think about the money in Major League Soccer if it were to become anywhere near the business of baseball.
