Dynasty Summer Intern Class Update

Dynasty Interns

All I can say is that I am really blown away. The talent and sheer number of applicants has made the first cut extremely difficult for all of us at Dynasty. Our internship program has grown tremendously based on applications, and with many future projects planned for this summer, the interns will be very busy helping Dynasty grow. In the Winter, we received somewhere between 50 and 60 applications. This time, we received over 70 resumes and cover letters. I do not want to knock the talent of the Winter applicants in any way, but damn…this Summer class is stacked full of extremely qualified people.

Emails will be going out tonight/tomorrow to those that were not fortunate enough to secure a position in the second round of interviewing. Just because you may have not made it to the second round does not mean there is no future for you in this industry. Keep your head up and keep pushing. After my first interview with Career Sports & Entertainment, I had heard that I was not going to be offered the position. I somehow got a second interview opportunity and landed the position. Even if you are not selected for one of the two Summer Intern positions, I would love to continue to correspond with you to see how we can together make Dynasty continue to grow.

Off to scheduling the second round, which will consist of phone calls to each applicant that still remains. Please check your emails to find out details on how it will go down. The application deadline has officially passed. The Summer internship period will run until the end of August. We will then probably select another 2 interns to work with us until the end of December. If you do not make it this time or did not apply, we encourage you to apply for the internship starting in September.
