I am officially done with the first week of my last year of law school. It feels good to be back in a learning environment after a few weeks off. I enjoy all of my classes and am certain that I will take away a lot of useful information to help me grow Dynasty and grow as a well informed negotiator. Brandon Brown is doing well in Lithuania, and we hope to be announcing another one of our players signing in another foreign country sometime soon. Baseball season is coming to a close, and a former intern has a great wrap-up of how our clients have fared in the 2009 season. We hope that our clients who lead their teams to the postseason perform well and that those playing Winter Ball, showcase their skills to the world. Here are some stories I missed over the past week:
Football
- A nice breakdown of the Tyson Jackson, Aaron Curry, and B.J. Raji contracts [First-rounders are cashing in].
- A couple of Florida cities are under consideration [Senior Bowl might be moving out of Mobile].
- Agents collectively not allowing their clients to participate in offseason drills until they are signed to their entry-level contracts…a possibility? [Pats finally sign McKenzie].
Basketball
- Might they be replaced by regional freelancers? [Inside the Numbers: The Cost of an Advance Scout].
- Great links in Twitter form [Carnival Of The NBA!].
Baseball
- Hard slotting system or continue with the ignored suggested slots? [Does Draft system need reform?]
- Lots of former first round picks and big name prospects will be heading to Arizona soon [Strasburg, top picks highlight AFL].
- And here is the current list. A lot of young talent. Expect more of the AAA studs to be in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic [AFL Rosters Are Announced].
