Jimmy Spratt – ECHL Reebok Goalie of the Week

Jimmy Spratt continues to improve and play well for the Las Vegas Wranglers of the East Coast Hockey League.  This past Tuesday, Spratt was named ECHL Reebok Goalie of the Week after winning four out of four games and posting a 2.75 goals-against average and .923 save percentage. Those four wins helped elevate the Wranglers to second place in their division while they continue to fight for playoff position. The Wranglers host Alaska this weekend as both Spratt and the team try to extend their winning ways.

Congrats to you and Jimmy. Great to see he is doing well in the Coast, he was too good of a tendy to be in the SP.

Being a Bowling Green grad, it’s great to see some of our guys getting the recognition they deserve. This is just another example of the importance of keeping the Bowling Green program alive. The storied history, 1984 National Championship as well as being the helping hand to Miami (OH) starting their program up, needs to be preserved. I wish Spratt all the best and hope for his continued success.

Thanks for the support guys.

BG needs to revamp their program from the ground up. They have some great alumni and need their support as well. Hopefully the new coach will change things up around there.

To BG’s credit, it’s no easy task losing players and potential recruits due to your programs future being unknown – let alone in the CCHA. I’m sure they’ll return to old form in the near future.
