James-Michael Johnson Signs With XAM Sports Leading Up To 2012 NFL Draft

James-Michael Johnson, a redshirt senior inside linebacker from Nevada, has signed with Scott Smith of XAM Sports.  Smith announced the signing on his Twitter feed last week.

NFLDraftScout.com ranks Johnson as the 2nd best senior inside linebacker in the country, and currently projects him as a 4th round pick in 2012.  In 2011, Johnson had 87 tackles (3.5 for loss), an interception, and a fumble recovery.  Prior to the season, he was named to the 2011 Butkus Award Preseason Watch List.   Johnson has been invited to participate in the Senior Bowl on January 28, 2012 in Mobile, Alabama.
