Sports Agent Molly Fletcher Gives Her “Pitch” To Jeremy Lin

Linsanity is here to stay.  Jeremy Lin’s play has grabbed the attention of not only New York, but the entire nation, with his inspiring play that has contributed to the New York Knicks’ surge in the Eastern Conference.

I recently came across a Fox Business video clip of my former mentor, Molly Fletcher, making a fabricated pitch to Jeremy Lin in what would be her attempt to have Lin sign with her for negotiating his future team contract and for finding the Lin right marketing opportunities.  Notice how Fletcher focuses mostly on talking about Lin instead of making the conversation all about her.  This is often an effective form of communication when trying to woo potential clients.

Heitner has represented numerous athletes and sports agents as legal counsel.
