On To The Next One: Dwight Freeney

Another former Gary Wichard client has found himself a new agent.  Wichard, a former NFLPA Contract Advisor, passed away almost exactly a year ago.  Since his passing, Wichard’s clients at Pro Tect Management have slowly been making the change to new agents.

The most recent NFL player to sign with a new agent is Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney.  Freeney signed with Creative Artists Agency, a popular destination for players who were formerly with Wichard.  The defensive end’s name has recently surfaced regarding possible trades.  He has one more year on his current contract.

Other former Wichard clients who have signed new representation agreements include, Calais Campbell (Creative Artists Agency), Antonio Cromartie (Creative Artists Agency), Jimmy Clausen (Athletes First), and Jamaal Anderson (Lagardère Unlimited), and Terrell Suggs (Lagardère Unlimited).
