Georgia QB Aaron Murray Signs With SportsTrust Advisors

USATSI_7559153_155451184_lowresArguably one of the most decorated players in University of Georgia football history has finally found a sports agent.  Bulldogs’ quarterback, Aaron Murray, recently secured Atlanta-based SportsTrust Advisors for representation.  NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor, Pat Dye Jr., will represent the four-year starter.

Murray ended his five-year stint in Athens, Georgia with four, 3,000-plus yard seasons.  He finished his career with 13,166 passing yards, good for most in SEC history.  Additionally, his 121 touchdowns give him the title of passing touchdown leader in the conference as well.  NFLDraftScout.com ranks Murray as the No. 11 best quarterback in the 2014 Class.

Rob Rang, Senior NFL Draft Analyst for NFLDraftScout.com, recently compared Murray to Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, Matt Barkley (2013 Draft pick).

“Like Barkley, Murray exhibits good feet and impressive touch from the pocket, but has been an inconsistent decision-maker and will need to show improved awareness in order to be considered an elite prospect at the position,” Rang said.

SportsTrust’s clients include quarterback Ryan Tannehill (Miami Dolphins), linebacker Dont’a Hightower (New England Patriots), and the recently retired, Brian Urlacher (Chicago Bears).  Last summer, Forbes.com ranked the sports agency as the No. 7 most valuable NFL agency in the world, with roughly $450 million worth of contracts under management.
