Lagardère Unlimited, one of the more well-known agencies in the sports business industry, recently bolstered its consulting division.  The world’s No. 7 most valuable sports agency added sports marketer, Kern Egan along with a few other senior executives from the Dallas-based sports marketing and entertainment practice, Haymaker.

“My team is thrilled to join Lagardère Unlimited,” Egan said.  “LU’s scale of network and breadth of service lines in their consulting division was a real attraction for us making the move.  We are excited to continue what made us successful, now with the expanded, global opportunities and resources in the sports, entertainment, and lifestyle verticals that Lagardère Unlimited offers.”

Egan founded Haymaker during his 11 years with The Richards Group, a property-marketing firm.  Besides this business move, Lagardère has taken other appropriate actions to strengthen its consulting practice even more with the recent additions of sponsorship executives Peter Levy, Ty Bailey, and Carlos Canto.

“Kern and his team are a perfect complement to our global consulting division,” said Jay Danzi, overseer of Lagardère Unlimited Consulting.  “They bring with them a wealth of knowledge, top tier clients, extensive relationships and a deep understanding of the world of sports and entertainment.  Kern and his team’s respect in the business will allow Lagardère Unlimited to bolster its relationships with leading global brands.”
