Twenty-one-year-old Instagram and fitness sensation, Jen Selter, has changed representation as a new calendar year quickly nears. The Long Island native was originally represented by The Legacy Agency, but now, Premier Management Group will manage Selter’s career and help build corporate relationships as she continues to grow her brand in 2015.
“Jen has a massive audience of fans who are looking to her for advice on topics ranging from fitness to fashion,” said PMG President, Evan Morgenstein, to Virtual Strategy. “In addition to expanding her fan base, Jen will utilize a variety of new social media platforms to inspire her followers.

According to Morgenstein, Selter — who initially gained popularity and notoriety because of her derriere — has the potential to grow her social following to 15,000,000 over the next calendar year.
Other fitness celebrities, such as Paige Hathaway and Caitlin Rice, have also utilized social media to build a following online but not yet to the extent of Selter, who is the world’s 53rd most followed celebrity on social media. The opportunity to leverage social media into lucrative business deals was not apparent 10 years ago, but with the advent of different social media platforms, individuals like Selter are strategically cashing in on their substantial following.
