NBPA certified Agents Mitchell Butler, Toby Bailey, and Dean Walle have left Rival Sports Group to join Jackson Management Group, LLC, forming their basketball division.

Butler who is the only certified player agent to have played, coached, and worked as an executive in the NBA, was the President of Basketball for Rival Sports Group. Bailey and Walle functioned as the Vice-Presidents of Basketball.

The trio bring over a client list of close to 30 NBA and international players headlined by Avery Bradley and Josh Huestis. Bradley, a former 19th overall pick, enters his 6th season for the Boston Celtics. The 6’2 point guard is in the second year of a four-year, $32 million contract he signed in July 2014.

Josh Huestis has just signed a four-year, rookie-scale contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Stanford University all-time leading shot blocker was selected 29th overall by the Thunder in the 2014 NBA Draft.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to join an agency with a vision that improves our ability to service clients at the highest level,” said Butler. “Great things happen when an entire agency is pulling in the same direction to help maximize clients’ careers,” added Bailey.

JMG CEO Charles Jackson (son of NBA legend Phil Jackson) stated, “We are enthusiastic about the talent coming into our agency both from an athlete and agent perspective. Bailey, Butler and Walle bring experience, professionalism, and a hard working mentality to this company. Their diverse book of business makes this transition to JMG a natural fit for both our domestic and our international platforms. We are looking for great things from this team in the years to come.”
