On To The Next One: Jordan Reed

Fresh off a solid performance in the NFC Wild Card game against the Green Bay Packers, Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed has switched agents. He is now represented by Sunny Shah, founder of 320 Sports, according to Sports Business Journal. He was previously represented by Elevate Football.

A third-round pick in 2013 out of Florida, Reed scored 11 touchdowns this season and is considered one of the best receiving tight ends in the NFL. He had nine catches for 120 yards and a touchdown against the Packers in his first postseason appearance.

The 6’2″ 237 pound Reed tallied 87 receptions for 952 yards this season in addition to his touchdown total. His third year in the league was by far his most successful as he nearly doubled his career receiving yard total from his first two seasons, and more than tripled his number of touchdowns.

Shah, one of four agents highlighted on Esquire’s “The Agent,” is one of only 11 agents 35 years or younger to sign at least two players drafted in the 2nd round or higher in the 2014 NFL Draft (Lamarcus Joyner and Timmy Jernigan, 41st and 48th overall respectively both out of Florida State). In six years, he has negotiated over $150 million in NFL contracts. He is now a part of Paramount Sports and Entertainment, where he is both a NFLPA and NBPA certified contract advisor and the VP of PSE Football.
