On To The Next One: Marcus Georges-Hunt

Orlando Magic shooting guard Marcus Georges-Hunt has signed with Pensack Sports Management Group. He was previously playing without representation.

After going undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft out of Georgia Tech, the 6-foot-6 Georges-Hunt played for the Brooklyn Nets in the 2016 NBA Summer League. Prior to the start of the 2016-17 NBA Draft, he signed with the Boston Celtics, appearing in two preseason games. Although being waived by the Celtics in October, he signed with the Maine Red Claws of the NBA D-League as an affiliate player of the Celtics.

After a 10-day stint with the Miami Heat, he was reacquired by the Maine Red Claws. He played in 45 games for the Red Claws, averaging 15.8 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 4.5 apg, and 1.02 steals. He was sixth in the D-League in minutes played, and 20th in assists, and was named a 2016-17 D-League All Star. His play in the D-League saw him rewarded with a multi-year contract with the Orlando Magic in early April.
