Lagardère Sports Announces Trio Of Promotions In Consulting Division

According to a company press release, Lagardère Sports has named three senior executives to new leadership positions in its consulting division.

Kern Egan has been named the president of consulting. In this role, Egan will lead the strategic development of the agency’s brand consulting division across the Americas and will focus on managing and developing the agency’s capabilities. Among these duties includes new strategic acquisitions and hires. He previously served as executive vice president of consulting for Lagardère Sports, overseeing the agency’s U.S. consulting practice.

Dave Cagianello has been promoted to executive vice president, consulting. In this role, he takes over the day-to-day management of the agency’s client account teams as well as the group’s new business efforts from Egan, to whom he will also report. He most recently was senior vice president of consulting and has helped in the growth of the division since he came aboard in 2014.

Marc Tarozzi is now the executive vice president of Rooftop2 Productions, the experimental marketing agency that Lagardère Sports acquired in 2016. He will be responsible for the overall operations of Rooftop2 Productions and he too will report to Egan. Tarozzi was previously Rooftop2’s chief operating officer. The three other members of Rooftop2’s executive leadership team have also had their roles redefined to better reflect their responsibilities.

“Consulting is a key driver for our business globally, and Kern, Dave, and Marc have played key roles in the considerable growth of the division during their respective tenures,” said Pierce. “Kern has the necessary experience and strategic vision to help us compete, Dave has a long track record of successfully working with brands and managing people, and Marc has played a key role in making Rooftop2 an invaluable part of our business over the last year.  I’m certain their ascension to these new roles will benefit both our agency and our clients immeasurably.”
