On To The Next One: Skal Labissiere

According to the agency, Wasserman has signed Sacramento Kings forward/center and former Kentucky Wildcat, Skal Labissiere. Labissiere was formerly represented by Independent Sports & Entertainment (ISE) and agent Travis King. King and ISE signed Labissiere when he declared for the draft after just one season at the University of Kentucky.

The former No. 28 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns, Labissiere was traded to the Kings on draft night. During his rookie season, Labissiere showed much promise and looks to be a big part of the rebuilding process in Sacramento. He averaged 8.8 ppg. and 4.9 rpg. in just 18.5 mpg., including a career high 32 points in a game against the team that traded him away on draft night, the Phoenix Suns.

Labissiere will be represented by Thad Founcher and Jason Ranne. Foucher, an Executive Vice President & Management Executive, Basketball and Ranne, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Team Sports, add Labissiere to Wasserman’s loaded roster which includes 2017 NBA All-Stars Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

Wasserman also represents Kings rookie Bogdan Bogdanovic, who last season earned All-EuroLeague First Team honors and earlier this month led Serbia to the silver medal at EuroBasket 2017, where he garnered an All-Tournament First Team selection after averaging 20.4 points, 5.0 assists, and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 47.4% from the field.
