Former Legacy Agent, Brodie Scoffield, Gains First Two Clients

Last month, Brodie Scoffield left the Legacy Agency to represent clients on his own. Negotiating over half of one billion dollars in contracts, the Legacy Agency represents primarily baseball clients along with tennis and golf clients as well. Based in New York City, their baseball division ranks #9 among their competitors. Clients include Justin Turner, Martin Prado and Madison Bumgarner.

In the first week of October, it was reported by Jon Heyman of Fancred that Marcus Stroman and Kevin Gausman have teamed up with Brodie to be his lone clients.

Toronto Blue Jays starter, Stroman, was 4-9 with a 5.54 ERA in 19 starts in 2018 before being placed on the disabled list for a blister on his right index finger.

Gausman pitched 2 innings and gave up 2 earned runs for the Braves in their Game 3 win over the Dodgers in the NLDS. Despite the Dodgers advancing to the NLCS, Gausman finished the 2018 season with a 10-11 record and a 3.92 ERA in 31 starts for the Braves.
