Roc Nation Announces New Division: Roc Nation Sports International

Roc Nation’s new global division, Roc Nation Sports International, plans to open its London-based office October 1st. Michael Yormark will spearhead the agency’s soccer and international operations. Yormark previously held the title of President and Chief of Branding and Strategy for Roc Nation.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce and grow the Roc Nation brand across the international stage,” Yormark said. “I would like to thank Roc Nation’s ownership for their vote of confidence and support. Since joining Roc Nation five years ago, I’ve been a part of some truly historic accomplishments, and I look forward to continuing to bring that same success to the world’s game.”

Yormark’s twin-brother Brett recently stepped down after 14 years as Chief Executive Officer of the Brooklyn Nets. Jay Z, who sold his minority stake in the Nets back in 2013 in order to operate RNS, has worked closely with the brothers. Former Brooklyn Nets CRO Mike Zavodsky stepped down in August to become President of Sports & Events Sales at Roc Nation. It’s unclear if Brett will join the team at Roc Nation.

Roc Nation Sports International currently represents six athletes – Jérôme Boateng of Bayern Munich, Romelu Lukaku of Inter Milan, Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City, Eric Bailly of Manchester United, Axel Witsel of Borussia Dortmund and Samuel Chukwueze of Villarreal FC.
