On January 8th, power house agent Leigh Steinberg announced the signing of Temple’s top cornerback Harrison Hand. The 6’0 190 pound cornerback began his playing career at Baylor under current Panthers Coach Matt Rhule. After two seasons he transferred to Temple noting “family reasons” and the “fit” with the program.
In his breakout 2019 campaign, Harrison ended with (59) tackles, (4) being tackles for loss, (8) pass break ups, (3) interceptions and a forced fumble. Harrison skipped the Military Bowl due to surgery to a finger on his left hand, but started all 12 games prior to that. His discipline, technique and physicality in coverage are what scouts highlight as his strengths, with early projections seeing him drafted in the middle rounds.
Steinberg Sports has aggressively compiled a formidable list of talent entering into the 2020 NFL Draft, with Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa leading the pack.
