Klutch Sports Group Signs Tim Anderson

Klutch Sports group has announced via twitter the signing of Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson. Klutch Baseball is led by veteran agent Brodie Scoffield, and was formed in April of 2020 following Klutch Sports Group’s acquisition of Tidal Sports.

Rich Paul’s agency most notably represents elite NBA stars such as LeBron James, Ben Simmons, and Anthony Davis among many other high-profile players. Anderson will join a strong roster of baseball clients led by New York Mets pitcher Marcus Stroman.

Anderson had a solid campaign for the White Sox last season where he hit .335 and was the recipient of the American League batting title. He was the first White Sox player since Frank Thomas in 1997 to bring home a batting title to the south side of Chicago. Anderson is currently in the third year of a 6 year $25 million dollar contract extension he signed with the White Sox in 2017.
