Brazilian football star, Neymar Jr., has signed a long-term partnership deal with sportwear company PUMA. He will wear PUMA’s legendary King football boot on the pitch and will also be a brand ambassador off the field, wearing PUMA’s other lifestyle, training, and sport-inspired footwear and apparel products. Neymar Jr. is represented by NR Sports.
In a letter announcing his partnership with PUMA, Neymar Jr. stated he grew up watching football legends Pelé, Cruyff, Eusebio and Maradona, who each played in PUMA. Neymar Jr., who is one of the sports world’s biggest international stars—he boasts 142 million followers on Instagram and 49.2 million followers on Twitter—hopes to leave behind his own legacy in the KING boots.
Neymar Jr. currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and has won three French league titles, two Coupe de France, and two Coupe de la Ligue. He played an important role in leading the club to its first ever Champions League Final in 2020.
PUMA has also partnered with footballers Antoine Griezmann, Romelu Lukaku, Sergio Agüero, Luis Suárez, and many other international stars.
