YM APAA Sports Signs Deonte Brown

Deonte Brown, a key piece in Alabama’s award-winning offensive line, has signed with Young Money APAA Sports for his representation. The announcement came after Alabama won their seventh National Championship under Coach Saban by routing the Ohio State Buckeyes 52-24. The Crimson Tide’s formidable O-line played a crucial role in securing their 13-0 perfect season.

Brown is a redshirt senior towering at 6’ 4” and weighing in at a whopping 350 pounds. He gained a wealth of experience playing in 47 total games and starting 25, including all 13 games of the 2020 season. Perhaps the most remarkable statistic of Brown’s collegiate career was he did not allow a single sack in four seasons. Brown was in the game for 757 snaps this year. During that span, he missed only two assignments, committed just four penalties, and allowed merely one pressure and five QB hurries.

Alabama’s offensive line thoroughly dominated their competition in both the rushing and passing game during their championship year. They paved the way for Najee Harris to rush for nearly 1,400 yards and 24 touchdowns. In the passing attack, Heisman finalist Mac Jones was able to sit comfortably in the pocket and dissect defenses with his throwing accuracy. Bama finished the season ranked #1 in scoring (48.2 ppg), #1 in pass efficiency (198.5), #2 in passing offense (349.3 ypg), and #4 in total offense (535.0 ypg). A substantial share of the team’s success on offense can be attributed to Deonte Brown and the rest of the big men up front. The Tide’s O-line was awarded the Joe Moore Award, an honor given to the nation’s most outstanding offensive line unit.

Young Money APAA Sports has signed multiple clients from the college football powerhouse that is Alabama. Brown will be joining Jedrick Wills and Quinnen Williams, who were both top-10 draft picks, as clients of YM APAA Sports. His former Alabama teammate defensive tackle Christian Barmore has also just signed with the agency founded by famed rapper Lil Wayne. The skills Brown has showcased as a member of the Crimson Tide make it reasonable to expect that he could go as high as the second round of the upcoming 2021 NFL Draft. Brown is accurately assessed as an aggressive run blocker and effective in pass protection while also displaying high strength levels and awareness. His mountainous size and blocking abilities will serve any franchise well, particularly one wishing to protect a franchise quarterback. Young Money APAA Sports will provide high-quality representation for Deonte Brown in all of his football endeavors, just as it has with the other Alabama alumni.
