Roc Nation Partners with International Rugby Club, The Sharks

Roc Nation Sports has partnered with The Sharks, an international rugby club based in South Africa. The partnership gives Roc Nation a minority stake in the club, and intends to assist The Sharks with brand amplification/creative activation, digital strategy and execution, commercial sales, community initiatives, fan engagement, retail/hospitality support.

“Roc Nation is an internationally renowned company and we are delighted to welcome them to The Sharks family. With their expertise and relationships in the international market, our vision of taking The Sharks  brand to the world is very much on track.” Dr. Eduard Cortzee, CEO of The Sharks, said in the release announcing the partnership.

Founded in 1995, The Sharks hold strong values in building a strong notion between family and sports. Roc Nation aims to make The Sharks Rugby Team a household name, in effort to expanding their mission to create community-facing initiatives.

Roc Nation is keen in their decision of partnering with the South African club, in hopes of drawing the attention of global athletes.
