Priority Sports Signs Miles Mcbride

Priority Sports has signed sophomore Miles Mcbride from West Virginia University. Mcbride announced via social media that he had officially decided to keep his name in the 2021 NBA Draft.

The 6’2″, 200-pound, guard is from Cincinnati, Ohio where he attended Archbishop Moeller High School. He led his high school to the Ohio Division I State Championship with a 29-0 record. He became the first Division I state champion to go undefeated since 1995. Mcbride was named to the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association Division I Ohio All-State First team as a senior. He was also named the Greater Catholic League South Division Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. In high school, Mcbride also played football and threw for 17 touchdowns, and was 58 of 78 passing.

During his freshman year at West Virginia, Mcbride was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team and Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team. He played in all 31 games and averaged 9.5 points. He was second on the team with 16 games in double figures. His sophomore season, he averaged 15.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game. He was awarded All-Big 12 2nd Team, Lefty Driesell Defensive All-American Finalist, NABC NCAA D1 All-District 8 2nd Team, and USBWA All-District II Team.

Mcbride has been preparing for the upcoming 2021 NBA Draft and he has had a strong pre-draft process. Mcbride showed during the pre-draft process that he could shoot from the NBA three-point distance and his measurements were far better than expected. He has already worked out with the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics.
