ESM Signs Sam Howell For NIL Negotiations

ESM has signed junior, Sam Howell from University of North Carolina for all name, image, and likeness negotiations. Brett Greenberg shared the news via social media. ESM represents athletes in the NFL, PGA and LPGA. They also represent brands for athlete talent procurement and run an ESM Youth Football Camp across the nation. Sam Howell will be joining current NFL Players such as Mac Jones, Nick Chubb, Will Grier, amongst others.

The 6’1″, 225-pound, quarterback is from Indian Trail, North Carolina where he attended Sun Valley High School. He was a consensus four-star prospect and ranked number 2 in the state of North Carolina. Howell was ranked the number 3 pro-style quarterback in the country and the number 87th overall player nationally by the 247Sports Composite. He was ranked as the fourth-best quarterback at the Elite 11 Opening Finals. In high school, Howell finished his career going 805 of 1,361 for 13,415 yards and 145 touchdowns. He set the North Carolina record for total yards with 17,036.

At the University of North Carolina, Howell finished his recent sophomore season as a Manning Award Finalist, Davey O’Brien Award Semifinalist, Maxwell Award Semifinalist, All ACC Second Team, ACC Quarterback of the Week (3 weeks), O’Brien Award National QB of the Week, Walter Camp National Offensive Player, Manning Award “Star of the Week and All-ACC Academic Team. Howell led the ACC and ranked sixth nationally with 30 touchdown passes. His 68 total touchdown passes over his first two seasons are the most through a sophomore year in ACC history and are tied for the school record.
