Victor Oladipo Acquires New Representation

Miami Heat guard Victor Oladipo has procured new representation in Jeff Schwartz and Javon Phillips at Excel Sports Management. Oladipo was formerly represented by Aaron Turner of Versus Management Team.

Oladipo was the #2 overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft and has amassed several awards in his young career: All-Rookie First Team, Steals Leader, Most Improved Player, All-Defensive First Team, and two All-Star selections. He is currently an unrestricted free agent who finished the ’20-’21 season with the Heat after beginning the season with the Pacers and making a brief stop with the Houston Rockets. His multi-team season came after suffering a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee, which ended his ’18-19′ season.

Between trying to rehab a severe injury and adapting to multiple new teams, the last two years have been unsettling for Oladipo. Acquiring new agents to represent him in free agency might be the fresh start he needs. Schwartz and Phillips are experienced agents that have negotiated several max-contract signings. The NBA agent duo has previously teamed up in representing Kemba Walker, Andre Drummond, Jeremy Lamb, Cole Anthony, and Nick Richards.
