California Sports Lawyer Negotiation Competition Coming To Rose Bowl Stadium

An insightful and innovative event in the sports and entertainment industry is being hosted in Pasadena, California from February 2-4, 2023. California Sports Lawyer®’s founder, Jeremy Evans, is launching a novel negotiation competition for JD/LLM and MBA students and will host it at the prestigious Rose Bowl Stadium. The competition will feature teams of two students from the same university and comprise entertainment, media, sports law, and business management topics.

“The California Sports Lawyer® Negotiation Competition at the world-famous Rose Bowl Stadium will be the first competition to accomplish three things: (1) hosted at an iconic sports venue and historical landmark, (2) combining multiple graduate students from law school, post-law school, and MBA students, while (3) negotiating entertainment, media, and sports law contracts,” Evans said. “The competition is meant to be a real practice window into the industry and where changes are occurring.”

The California Sports Lawyer® Negotiation Competition is a great opportunity for aspiring sports and entertainment professionals to apply their industry-relevant knowledge in a competitive format while also experiencing first-hand critical components of their potential future careers.

Evans further expressed some compelling features the competition will boast: “Negotiations will be held in the iconic Terry Donahue Pavilion suites. Networking and tours inside the stadium and on the field will be available. Prizes will be awarded to the top four teams, plus Rose Bowl swag for all participants. We will have industry and celebrity judges, while food, beverage, symposium/speakers, and events are also offered.”
