Friday afternoon, it was reported that former University of Alabama runningback, Mark Ingram, terminated his representation agreement with Rocky Arceneaux. Arceneaux is the President and CEO of The Alliance Management Group, which is involved in the representation of sports, music, and entertainment personalities. Its website claims that Marshall Faulk is involved with the company in some fashion. The website was also updated on April 9 with a link to a Mark Ingram video, one day after news broke that Ingram fired the firm.
At this point in time, there has been no confirmation of Ingram’s next agent. The NFL Draft is less than 3 weeks away, and I fully expect for Ingram to find a replacement by then.
Brandon Thorn currently projects Mark Ingram being the 15th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. He would certainly be a good fit if Ronnie Brown and/or Ricky Williams are no longer with the Miami Dolphins next season.
Update (4/14/11): Mark Ingram has selected Joel Segal of Lagardere Unlimited to serve as his agent.

Should be interesting to see if one/both of the current running backs stay. I figure the most likely scenario is that they keep Ronnie and let Ricky go.
I guess we will see what way Miami goes. Ingram has obviously complemented nicely with Richardson at Alabama. Will two physical pound-on-the-ground running backs be the right decision? I figure if he falls to 15 Miami would be hard-pressed not to take him considering RB is a need for Miami. On the other hand, the recent late drafted RB have been stealing the spot light from the earlier picks (Foster, Blount, Rice, to name a few).
