Catching Up With JR Rickert’s NFL Draft Class

Since officially announcing that he became a part of the Authentic Athletix team run by former All Pro Sports & Entertainment agent Peter Schaffer along with his resignation as the president of National Sports Management, JR Rickert has written about the signing of three players who hope to soon be playing on Sundays.  The three players are Al Netter, Tyler Horn, and Eric Latimore.

Al Netter is an offensive tackle from Northwestern University who just completed his redshirt Senior season.  He was selected 2011 All-Big Ten Honorable Mention by the conference coaches and the media.  NFLDraftScout.com ranks Netter as the 29th best OT in the 2012 NFL Draft class and the #361 player overall.

Tyler Horn is a University of Miami (yes, a Hurricane not signed to Rosenhaus) redshirt Senior center who weighs in at 305lbs and is 6’4 in height.  He is not a lock to be drafted, but was named 2011 All-ACC Second Team by the media.  NFLDraftScout.com lists him as the 18th best center and #501 overall.

Eric Latimore is a defensive end from Penn State University who also just completed his redshirt Senior season.  He is rated by NFLDraftScout.com right around Horn at #516 overall.  The website also says the he is currently the 36th best defensive end in the Draft.

Why are you doing articles on players that have almost no chance at being drafted? Why not focus on the 250 players (aprox) that will be drafted?

I am focusing on a variety of players and certainly doing my best to cover those agencies who actually reach out to me regarding their signees.
