Earlier this year, when Lagardère Unlimited acquired Scottsdale, Arizona-based Gaylord Sports Management Group, it inherited a golf division, baseball division, and football division. That football division was run by NFLPA Contract Advisor Ken Sarnoff. Almost immediately, the Gaylord Sports association was dropped and Sarnoff became a part of the Lagardère team, working in a football division that had been managed by long-time NFLPA Contract Advisor Joel Segal.
If you take a look at the 2012 NFL Draft Rounds 1-7 Picks (Player/Agent) list, you will notice that Sarnoff’s name is not attached to Lagardère Unlimited. That is because Sarnoff is no longer with the company. Sarnoff is departing Lagardère Unlimited with Sam Renaut, who had served as Football Marketing Coordinator, Director of Recruiting and Player Development with the company.
Sarnoff had two clients selected in the 2012 NFL Draft:
- #74 overall (3rd round) selection by Kansas City – Donald Stephenson (T – Oklahoma)
- #186 overall (6th round) selection by Dallas – James Hanna (TE – Oklahoma)
At this point in time, I have nothing to report regarding Sarnoff’s future plans. As soon as I get word, I will be sure to report it.
