Prospective NFLPA Contract Advisors Receive “Test Specifications” and Info About Mandatory Seminar

Last week, prospective NFLPA Contract Advisors (those who applied at the beginning of this year) were told that the NFLPA has completed a review of most of the applications that were submitted.  Those who have been approved have received information about the mandatory seminar that will take place in Washington, DC on July 19-20, 2012 at The Ritz Carlton Hotel, 22nd and M street, N.W. Washington, DC.

As stated in the email sent by the NFLPA:

The first day and a half of the seminar will be devoted to instruction and in the afternoon on the second day (after lunch), there will be a very brief question and answer period, a short break and then the administration of the exam. Both meeting days will begin at 9:00am. Please arrive no later than 8:00am to allow for registration and check in outside of the meeting room.

Our goal is to begin administering the exam no later than 2:00pm on Friday. It will not exceed 3 hours, so once you have completed the test, you may leave the meeting site.

The seminar and examination are only a month away, but the NFLPA does not yet have a “source document binder” ready to send out to prospective NFLPA Contract Advisors to aid them in preparation for the exam.  However, the NFLPA has sent out a “2012 Test Specifications” document (technically an outline of the exam), which is embedded below.
