Notre Dame DT Louis Nix III — a projected first round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft — has determined who will represent him as he awaits his name being called in New York City.
Five Star Athlete Management recently signed the 6-foot-3, 347-pound Nix. Agents Todd France and Brian Ayrault will represent him as he forgoes his fifth and final year in South Bend, Ind.
The Jacksonville, Fla. native finished his career at Notre Dame with 122 tackles (14 for loss) and 2.5 sacks; he’ll be sitting out the New Era Pinstripe Bowl on Dec. 28 against Rutgers following meniscus surgery. Before missing the last two games of the regular season, Nix had 27 tackles, including two for loss.
NFLDraftScout.com has Nix as the No. 1 rated DT on its 2014 NFL Draft Prospects Rankings and is projected to go No. 23 in the draft. Scout, Inc. lists Nix as its No. 4 draft-eligible player while ESPN’s Mel Kiper, Jr. has Nix at No. 10 on his Big Board as well.
