Dad’s Corner: The Odds Breaker

While beginning to write this post, I am at half time in the weirdest college game I have seen in a long time: Fla St and Wake Forrest. If the second half end up being as weird as the first half, OH MY. All you Fl. fans nothing to be ashamed of, though, it has been a great game by 2 great mediocre teams.

I picked 5 winners and 3 losers last week. Here are my picks for this weekend using Thursday odds:

College Football: East Mich. +4 TCU -5.5 Cent Fl. +12.5 Purdue +5.5

Professional Football: Ravens -9 Cardinals -4 Fins +5.

Sorry Yankee fans (I am one) about losing so early. I feel that next year may be the year of the Cubbies.  They remind me a lot of the old Brooklyn Dodgers. Their day will come; maybe in my next life. It looks to me that Boston is the team to beat this year. How many manager changes this offseason? I predict 5.

Till next week be safe out there.
