Highlights

  • CAA once again dominated the NFL Draft with 23 clients getting drafted, the most of any agency for the second year in a row. CAA had 13 players selected in the first two rounds including 9 going in the first-round. CAA had three top-10 picks and five top-13 picks. CAA agent Tory Dandy represents three of those top-13 picks (Mike Williams, Marshon Lattimore, Hasson Reddick).
  • SportStars had 16 clients selected in the draft. While they only had one client get picked in the first two rounds, SportStars had 10 clients selected in rounds 3-4.
  • Athletes First had 15 clients drafted and, probably, the second-most impressive draft class of any agency. Seven of their 15 draftees were selected in the first two rounds including four first-round draft picks. Agent David Mulugheta had an impressive draft class that included three first-round selections (Deshaun Watson, Malik Hooker, Charles Harris).
  • Lagardere Sports had 11 players selected in the draft. They had six players selected in the first two rounds and four in the first-round, tying Athletes First for the second-most first-round selections of any agency.
  • Select Sports Group had 10 players drafted. They had three clients drafted in the second-round with clients Forrest Lamp and Marcus Maye taken back-to-back at picks 38 and 39.
  • Rep 1 Sports had 9 players drafted including three first-round picks. They followed last year’s QB class (Jared Goff & Carson Wentz) by representing Mitch Trubisky, the top QB taken and #2 overall pick. All nine draftees were selected in the first four rounds.
  • SportsTrust Advisors had 8 players selected in the draft. Their class had six players drafted in the first four rounds including two second-round picks.
  • Priority Sports had 8 clients drafted. They co-rep Tim Williams (third-round pick) with Maven Sports Group. In total, Priority Sports had five clients drafted in the first four rounds.
  • Rosenhaus Sports had 6 clients selected including one first-round pick and one second-round pick.
  • First Round Management also had 6 players drafted and made headlines during the first two days of the draft. The agency is mostly known for its MMA division but they saw two clients get picked in the first-round and two in the second-round.
  • National Sports Agency had 5 clients selected in the draft.
  • Steinberg Sports had 4 clients drafted. NFL agent Leigh Steinberg is officially “back” as this marks 2 years in a row that Leigh had a QB drafted in the first-round. This year, Patrick Mahomes II went 10th overall.
  • Goal Line Football had 4 clients selected in the draft.
  • Independent Sports & Entertainment had 4 players selected in the draft.
