Young Money APAA Sports, owned and led by Adie von Gontard and Lil Wayne, has come to terms with Lifestyle Sports Agency owned by Omar Cooper. In the announcement the agreement was described as one of a partnership where they will “collaborate” in the development of their athletes.
Lifestyle Sports Agency was just recently formed earlier this year. Before that Omar Cooper was the program founder of Athletes of Tomorrow (AOT), an organization with the mission of developing young basketball players into college-ready athletes.
YMAPAA Sports has been making consistent strides in the football division, so this move looks like the agency is putting the necessary pieces in place to create a dominant basketball division as well. Cooper will be a valuable asset in making this happen with his connections in the industry and with young athletes with promising athletic careers ahead of them.
Adie von Gontard said in press release that “providing unparalleled services and results to our clients is our #1 priority and this partnership will only continue to strengthen our goals”.
