Young Money APAA Sports Welcomes Te’a Cooper On The Heels of a New Partnership Agreement With Lifestyle Sports Agency

With the partnership agreement between Lifestyle Sports Agency, Young Money APAA Sports also welcomes daughter of Lifestyle Sports Agency owner Omar Cooper and 2020 WNBA Draft 18th overall pick Te’a Cooper.

Te’a Cooper was drafted in the 2020 draft by the Phoenix Mercury. After transferring from South Carolina to Baylor, Cooper had a breakout season playing as a graduate transfer. In her final season she averaged a career-high 13.6 points, 4.6 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game. She scored a career-high 32 points against Oklahoma.

Cooper joins Young Money APAA Sports through the partnership with Lifestyle Sports Agency just recently announced. She will likely be a strong foundation piece for the basketball division and advocate for more WNBA prospects to join the agency .

Phoenix Mercury Vice President Ann Meyers says that “she loved the way she (Te’a Cooper) handled the ball and sets up the team”. Currenlty Skylar Diggins is the starting point guard, giving Cooper a great talent to learn from.
