Agent Omar Wilkes Joins Klutch Sports

NBA agent Omar Wilkes has left Octagon after eight years and will become the new Head of Basketball for Klutch Sports. Wilkes’ new role with Klutch Sports will allow for Rich Paul to expand his role as CEO as Klutch looks into expanding into more sports.

Wilkes clients include NBA all star Trae Young, Cam Reddish, OG Anunoby, and the potential No. 1 overall pick in this years’s draft, Georgia’s Anthony Edwards. It is unclear if Wilkes’ clients will follow him to Klutch.

Wilkes played college basketball for Kansas and the University of California, Berkeley. He made two NCAA tournament appearances, including an Elite 8 run with Kansas in 2003. Prior to working for Octagon, Wilkes was the Assistant West Coast Director at Pinnacle Management Corporation. His father Jamaal Wilkes is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Klutch’s basketball division includes LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Ben Simmons, Draymond Green, amongst others. Last summer, United Talent Agency acquired a significant stake in Kluth Sports.
