Agent Spotlights NFL Players Sports Agents

NFL Agent Ben Renzin Joins WME Sports

WME Sports has hired NFL agent Ben Renzin to co-lead its football business alongside Brian Ayrault. WME is no stranger to adding breadth and depth to their organization, after merging with Endeavor and IMG to become an entertainment and media conglomerate in sports, events, media, and fashion. WME is most known for representing football players in marketing, entertainment, and sponsorship opportunities, but the agency is looking to continue growing in player representation in draft preparation and contract negotiation. Some of WME’s notable marketing clients include Cam Newton, Odell Beckham Jr., Joe Burrow, DeAndre Hopkins, and Christian McCaffrey.

Renzin and Ayrault know each other well, both transitioning over from CAA, with Ayrault coming over a month prior in September. Jordan Bazant, Co-Head of WME, said, “Ben is a dynamic agent for a new era of athletes who uniquely understands what is takes to build businesses for his clients. Ben and Brian Ayrault are a powerful combination with an impeccable track record, and we look forward to all they’ll accomplish as part of WME Sports.”

Ben Renzin, a New York native and Pace University grad, has represented top NFL talent, including 12 first-round draft picks throughout his career. Notable players include: D.K Metcalf, Tremaine Edmunds, Terrell Edmunds, Isaiah Wynn, Justin Jefferson, Nick Chubb, and Sony Michel.

“I’ve been so impressed by all WME Sports has been building these past few years, and as I began thinking about the next chapter for me and my clients, this was a natural fit. The resources and expertise available across WME Sports and the broader Endeavor network are second to none, and I am excited to help create a best-in-class representation option for the top football players, executives, and coaches in the world,” said Renzin.
