Lamar Morgan Signs With Andrea Grossi of MVP

MVP Agency has signed swingman Lamar Morgan who plays for Maia Basket Club in Portugal. He will be represented by Andrea Gossi.

The 6’6″, 200-pound swingman is from New Jersey, where he attended Burlington County Institute of Technology. He competed for the Coppin State University Eagles where he averaged 16.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists his senior season. He was awarded All-MEAC 3rd Team for the 2018 season. Prior to Coppin State University, he attended Mineral Area College (JUCO), where he was averaging 13.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists. He was named Academic All-America and was named 1st Team All-Conference.

In Morgan’s rookie season with Maia Basket (Portugal) he averaged 15.5 PPG, 1.8 APG, and 4.0 RPG. With the conclusion of his second season, he is now represented by Andrea Grossi from (MVP) as his representation. Lamar finished the 2020-21 season averaging 18.7PPG, 5.5 RPG, and 1.2 STL’s.
